How to Reset Your Password

Reset a forgotten password or change your current password.


If you forgot your password

  1. Go to the login page

  2. Click "Forgot password?" below the password field

  3. Enter your email address

  4. Click "Send Reset Link"

  5. Check your email for a password reset link

  6. Click the link in the email (valid for 24 hours)

  7. Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)

  8. Click "Update Password"

  9. You'll be redirected to the login page — sign in with your new password

If you want to change your current password

  1. Sign in to your account

  2. Click your avatar in the top right corner

  3. Select "Account" from the dropdown menu

  4. Scroll down to the "Change Password" section

  5. Enter your current password

  6. Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)

  7. Enter your new password again to confirm

  8. Click "Update Password" (the button under the "Change Password" section header)


Password Requirements

Your password must:

• Be at least 8 characters long

• Not be the same as your previous password

Troubleshooting

Didn't receive reset email

Check your spam folder. Make sure you entered the correct email address. Wait a few minutes and try again.

Reset link expired

Reset links expire after 24 hours. Request a new reset link from the login page.

"Passwords don't match"

Make sure the new password and confirmation password are exactly the same.

Signed up with Google/GitHub

If you signed up with social login, you don't have a password. Continue using Google or GitHub to sign in.
