How to Publish a Test

Make your test live so users can start providing feedback.

You can also do this with AI. Try it with Testflow MCP

Before you publish

Make sure you've completed these steps:

• Added at least one question (with a trigger configured)

• Added questions and/or enabled comment zones

• Previewed the test to ensure it works correctly

• Connected the SDK in your application

How to publish

  1. Open your test in the builder

  2. Click "Publish Test" in the top-right of the side panel

  3. Your test status flips from Draft to Active immediately. No separate confirmation step.

What happens after publishing

Status changes to Active

Your test status changes from "Draft" (gray) to "Active" (green).

The side panel appears for every visitor

As soon as the SDK loads on a page, the ProdExam side panel opens with a Welcome screen. Visitors enter their name, click Start Test, and questions fire based on the triggers you set.

Sessions are collected

Each user who completes the test creates a new session that appears in your Results.

Publishing from the test list

You can also publish without opening the builder:

  1. Go to your project's test list

  2. Find the test with "Draft" status

  3. Click the actions menu (three dots)

  4. Select "Publish"

Editing a published test

You can edit a published test at any time:

• Changes are saved automatically

• New users will see the updated version immediately

• Consider pausing the test for major changes

Do it with Testflow MCP

MCP

You can also publish tests using ProdExam's MCP integration with AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor.
