How to Export Data

Download your test responses as CSV files for analysis in Excel, Google Sheets, or other tools.

You can also do this with AI. Try it with Testflow MCP

How to get data out today

Both the dashboard button and the underlying export API are gated in V1 — there's no curl workaround that returns the same CSV. While we rework the pipeline, you can pull the same information through other surfaces:

Read responses via MCP

If you've connected the ProdExam MCP to Claude, Cursor, or Codex, ask the assistant to list responses for your test ID. The responses_list, responses_by_question, and responses_search tools return the same data the CSV would include — you can pipe it into a spreadsheet from there.

Browse responses in the dashboard

The Results page shows every response with sentiment, themes, and timestamps. You can filter, sort, and copy individual cells manually as a stopgap.

Wait for V2

CSV export is coming back in the next release with the same one-row-per-response shape described below.

What's included in the export

Response Data

All answers to each question, one row per session.

Timestamps

When each response was submitted.

Sentiment Labels

AI-generated sentiment (positive, neutral, negative) for each response.

Tags/Themes

AI-extracted themes associated with each response.

What you can do with exports

• Create custom charts and visualizations in Excel

• Share raw data with team members who don't have ProdExam access

• Archive historical data before deleting tests

• Combine data from multiple tests for comprehensive analysis

• Import into business intelligence tools

Do it with Testflow MCP
